Welcome to center of hope church - uganda
Welcome tocenter of hope church - uganda

God calls the unqualified and qualifies them. Just like in the Book of Esther in the Bible.
It was a great Sunday in our church as two people got saved .it was a great moment yesterdays.
No matter where you come from, who you are and what you do, your no far from God.
When the books of rememberance be opened. You can never be stamped and kept down. Just like a seed planted, it takes some time to sprout out but when its the time not even the ground can handle its power.

This week may you receive your breakthrough no matter how big and heavy that stone lied on you is. But the power of coming out will break it .
Your miracle has its time and it now.
God bless you.

21/04/2019 Easter 2019

My Easter sermon today from
Acts 10:34-43, John 20:1-18

The things that are on the one hand most straightforward and decisive often carry with them the greatest implications and consequences. It’s true of love the strongest of all emotions with the widest repercussions. It is true of faith the simple act of trusting lived out in a thousand complicated ways. It is true of life. It is true of death.

On this day we celebrate the simplest of events, the historic reality of the resurrection of Jesus, on the third day, after his execution and burial.

The Resurrection is a slow-burning explosion that changes individual lives, groups of people, whole societies, the course of history and the structure of the cosmos.

It was always of cosmic impact, all heaven rejoices, the world has shifted. The creator became one of his creatures, experienced mortality and shifted the patterns of reality. Like the birth of Jesus at the beginning it was experienced only by a few people in a few places - yet through the power of God the news of the Resurrection opened new life to all who heard it, and led them in new directions of which they could not imagine. God’s nature is to give us space to respond, space to ignore him, in this life. Of course, that choice has consequences now and beyond the grave, but we are wooed, not compelled, to follow Christ.

Whilst at the empty tomb we are on the very edges of mystery, we are confronted with the simple wisdom of God: Jesus Christ, the one that was truly dead, is now truly alive. Since Jesus is risen from the dead, he is alive to be met and known by you and by me.

The Resurrection demonstrates God’s conquest of death – which no other human being has ever defeated. We are invited to share in that conquest of death. With Jesus alive from the grave everything is different - we have the offer before us of life, hope and purpose in relationship with God. A channel of communication with God is offered, a relationship created, which we had no way or means to open by ourselves: it would be unimaginable were it not the sovereign work of God.

Mary Magdalene, the apostle to the apostles, meets Jesus – an encounter which was beyond her wildest hopes. She had gone to mourn, to ensure a proper burial for Jesus, to be near the body of the person who changed everything for her. That is what human beings have done and always will do when they lose someone who is dear to them. They go to the place of burial to feel close to them. They may sit and talk to them. They may recall their voice. Yet in all those things they know that the physical presence of the one they loved is no longer with them, and there is a gap in their lives that cannot be filled.

Imagine how Mary felt when suddenly that gap was filled, and the one who had been dead was encountered as alive, standing next to her, giving her instructions. It was the beginning of all her futures, of life that overcame suffering, fear and death, as it is for us.

It is only the beginning. The Acts of the Apostles tells how the news of the resurrected Jesus spread beyond its Jewish roots, and reaches every person on earth, offering life and hope not only then but now, to each of us here.

Peter, Jesus’ companion and disciple, was so transformed by the hope of the Resurrection, that when invited some time later he broke every rule in the book to go to a Gentile house – the house of Cornelius, a Roman, a member of the occupying power’s army. There he tells them the story of Jesus and His resurrection.

As Cornelius and his household listen, the barriers between them and God are blown down by the inrushing wind of the Spirit of God, who gives them also life and hope.

These transformations proclaim hope for us. Out of the simplicity of the death and resurrection of Jesus we run the danger of building complexities in our telling of the story and in the life of the church which are so elaborate and demanding that they may hide the basic truth, that Jesus is risen.

Personally and together with all Christians we have life in Him, and are called to obedience. Because of the Resurrection we can believe that Jesus Christ is God, and because we believe, we become disciples, and because we are disciples each and every one of us has a mission to make Him and His Kingdom known now and throughout our lives, in word and deed.

A church caught up by the good news of the Resurrection will be a Church that is devoted to the worship of Christ and all that he has done for us, that lives to serve those around it. It must be a holy church made up of holy people, rejecting the seeking of power, transparent about its failings, humble when there is sin.

The message we have been given by God, to give to the world is this: no-one need die, no-one need hate, all may have hope and calling, because Jesus Christ – God’s chosen and anointed one - is risen from the dead.

It is a global message. It applies to those where I have been all week here in Bugiri (Uganda) . It is good news for the harried refugees of South Sudan, the persecuted or pressurised Christians of the Middle East, whether from terrorism or state interference, the courageous Christians of so many countries. To my family in Frankfurt, To my friends in Australia, to those in South Africa and to those in Egypt. It applies to the wealthy of Manhattan and the poor of Papua New Guinea. It is good news that Christians have and that we must share, for it is news of transforming hope.

What then will we do with this man Jesus, this historic figure? What will we do with the one who died for us, and is now alive?

The resurrection confronts us with the challenge of our own decisions about Him. Do we put our lives in His hands and find life and hope, or do we seek to live our own way? There is no neutral option. We may choose to live with Him, or without Him. Choose hope and life, eternal life because it comes from God, real life because it was demonstrated decisively and forever in the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. For He is risen indeed.

God of glory,
by the raising of your Son
you have broken the chains of death and hell:
fill your Church with faith and hope;
for a new day has dawned
and the way to life stands open
in our Saviour Jesus Christ.

7 simple daily principles that a Christian must follow.
Do right, submit to authority, love each other, sowing and reaping, worship God. Conflict management, wise money management.
It's was a great morning of Bible study teaching and later in the main service.
People were delivered off from the spirit of darkness that brings imbalance and weighs limited boundaries from the people of God.

I welcome you to center of hope church in Uganda.
Bugiri town.

Prophetic Word to you for 2019

God Is Answering Out of the Whirlwind
In Job 38, God finally speaks to Job after keeping silent through the dialogues of Job’s friends.

Job was looking for an answer from God to make sense of his suffering and pain. His friends tried to offer an explanation, but their conjectures were not sufficient.

For those of you who have been waiting for God to respond to your disappointment and pain, he is going to speak as well as show his hand.

2019 Is the Year to Ask
God has been dealing with me about the freedom to ask. We often assume that we know the mind of God.

For many of us, assuming has put us in a situation that has caused unnecessary conflict.

God has been very specific with me over the past few weeks that this is the time to ask.

This means that we need to schedule times of strategic to petition God and hear his response to us.

There are a plethora of downloads available for the saints of God that will only be available in times of intercession and prayer.

The Holy Spirit is beginning to pull the intercessors away into a time of deep consecration to hear and ask. Don’t ignore the Holy Spirit’s advances.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened,” Matthew 7:7-8 (KJV).

Vacant Seats
The LORD showed me a vision of empty seats.

The LORD said, “There will be a transference of the anointing. Many leaders will be empty seats void of My Authority while temporarily holding positions of power.”

The Davids that have been working tirelessly in the field being prepared are about to be given a seat at the table.

Unassuming people will be given high positions of authority in the natural that are equal or equivalent to their rank in the spirit.

This repositioning will expose religious spirits and individuals with vain ambitions. God’s hand will be unequivocally on these leaders that he is raising up.

Even when the spirit of slander comes to sabotage, the anointing will heavily rest upon them and confound the naysayers.

“Humble yourselves before the LORD, and He will exalt you,” James 4:10.

Rain / Reign
From November to December, I kept hearing confirmation after confirmation concerning 1 Kings 18.

I kept hearing the LORD say, “It’s going to rain.”

Just like Elijah’s servant, I kept looking. I smelled rain. The atmosphere around me seemed conducive for rain, but I didn’t “see” it.

As I was praying for the strategy for 2019, the LORD said, “I’m sending the REIGN.”

The LORD is putting swords of fire in the hands of the individuals to reign.

There are things happening in the realm of the spirit that will remain unseen until the appointed time, Just know that God is giving you the grace to reign.

The shift will come swiftly from renting to ownership; from employee to owner; from single to married; from just having enough to being a distributor of wealth.

“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when the plowman shall overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; the mountains shall drip sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it.
I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit.
I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,” says the LORD your God,” Amos 9: 13-15 (ESV).

Forward Movement
That warfare from 2018 was God repositioning you to move at an accelerated rate without the added weight of leeches.

There will be many that will initiate friendships and partnerships. Be discerning about these connections.

God is going to reveal the authenticity of individuals that will approach you. Even individuals that carry influence must be discerned and vetted in spirit.

Don’t be fooled by religious fanfare over intellectual jargon. Your forward movement can be delayed based on the friendships and network connections that you make.

In prayer, the LORD kept repeating the importance of strategy to me, especially concerning the first three months of the year.

I admonish you to be strategic about every move you make, every conversation you have, and every text message you send.

The LORD said, “The days of moving in silence are coming to an end.”

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven,” Matthew 5:14-16 (ESV).

“The LORD is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance,” 2 Peter 3:9.

Divine Strategy for Families
God is releasing strategy for individuals who desire to start families and enter into covenantal relationships.

These heavenly strategies for family are just as important as the strategies used for business and ministry.

The assignments/deadlines you complete successfully (or unsuccessfully) will play a major role in your life for the next ten years.

Your obedience affects your legacy. Abide in God and he will abide in you and lead you on the narrow path. Choose radical obedience.

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight,” Proverbs 9:10.

“But recall the former days when, after you were enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings, sometimes being publicly exposed to reproach and affliction, and sometimes being partners with those so treated. For you had compassion on those in prison, and you joyfully accepted the plundering of your property, since you knew that you yourselves had a better possession and an abiding one. Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised,” Hebrews 10:32-36.

Over-Riding Your “No”
Many of you choose to turn a blind eye to certain behaviors of people and the spirits that they can carry.

It’s the concept of “out of sight – out of mind”.

The LORD said, “I AM revealing all things concerning My Children.”

I had a vision where the LORD showed me conversations that I have had about me personally.

The faces were plain as day so there was no need for interpretation.

Immediately, I tried to end the vision in my own strength, because I honestly don’t care about the chatter.

But the LORD said this to me, “I AM unveiling the secrets of men’s hearts so that they may know Me through you.”

Ignorance is not bliss. The LORD never unveils anything to you that will not be needed.

Just as God overrode my unwillingness to “see,” he’s overriding your “no”. God’s Will is more important than yours!
I wish you all a prosperous new year 2019

Pastor Steven Hynes

As we remember the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, may all that had died in you rise and be born again.
All your dreams and plans that perished untimely, may they be born again in the power that sent Christ.

It was a love sunday at Center of Hope church , and we were blessed to host one of our own from germany, Lisa Schmidt , it was good having her share with us in Church and everyone was blessed , we had holy communion, and having acts of love
We thank God for this Blessing of her gracing our country with the Word of God and with all the Love from Germany

Isaiah 6:1
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple´.

Whatever is hindering your prosperity, your development, your excellency, your breakthrough, your wedding, your success, your delivery, your happiness and joy, your knowledge and your connection with the Lord must die in the name of Jesus Christ.

Where does true deliverance come from? Only from God. Deliverance is found in God through deep reverential respect for his holiness and might, through living in covenant relationship with him, and through maintaining our focus on him. Any other roads to deliverance are false and ultimately prove themselves to be a snare. Like the tight rope walker whose eyes are not on the ground or the surroundings, but on the rope in front of him where he will walk, so too our eyes must be on the Lord. Only by looking to him will he lead us to safety.
Psalm 25:14-15

It was a great sunday at center of hope church , as all our church leaders had a time to share about what God was speaking to them throughout the week and they encouraged the believers,
The church administrator Ms Babirye Jane, Pastor Kintu Godfrey and pastor Kafuko Noah.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is — his good, pleasing, and perfect will.
Romans 12:

Center of hope church is under construction, be a blessing with any brick and support you can as we expand it for the community of Bugiri, in Uganda.
The church is growing daily in number be part of the kingdom builders in Uganda.

While it is naive, on one hand, to think that trusting in God makes all of our problems go away ,Christians have many of the same problems that unbelievers do because they share the same mortal flesh, on the other hand it's true. If we trust in God, we believe our work stands or falls in his hands and that ultimately we will share in his victorious and glorious presence. It means our lives will not be lived in vain. That's not just confidence; it's the foundation of true peac...e life lived to its fullest and richest, knowing that every moment of life matters and we don't need to be anxious about its results when we rest our life in the hands of the LORD.

let us seek ye first the presence of the Lord and the rest shall be added unto us , Mathew 6:33 .
All the problems and the worries will fade . i urge you today also to make God your priority

That was yesterday's sermon at center of Hope church , feel free to join us daily in our evening fellowships and our powerpacked sundays services . God bless you

We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10

The Psalmist reminded us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and God has something definite planned for us to do while we are here. We display his craftsmanship and skill when we intentionally live for him and not like the rest of the world.

The requirements of morality and holiness are not temporary or fleeting because they reflect the nature of our Holy God who is eternal. They don't shift with the wishes of culture, but are true across cultures and times and wishes. We do not adapt God's will to our times, but we redeem our times by adapting our wills to his truth.

Yesterday was the day when the Lord took us to our first church structure , it has been a long time coming , we have been renting a place where Center of Hope church has been having its services but God blessed us for the great people who have enabled us to construct a church permanently for Center of Hope church, from today , the House of God is open.

First service yesterday was graced by the WDF children who got their holidays, they formed a children choir, it was beautiful.
We are seeking for a Pastor for children.
